iwork unlock code

My macbook hard drive failed. So after I put in my new one, I tried to use iwork (07) and put in my unlock code ( that I paid $80 for when my computer was new) and it doesn't work. What can I do. Or is the lesson always buy the cd.

So you bought and downloaded online from Apple? Is this iWork 06?

Or did you download the trial?

I do not see an option on Apple's Store to download and pay.

I work 06 was on my computer when I bought it new. You could try it free for 30 days. To keep using it you had to pay the $80 to get an unlock code. Hence my problem after getting the new hard drive and installing my instal cd with the same Iwork06. Same deal try it for 30 days, but I already bought the unlock code and it won't work.

Best bet is to contact apple and explain

you have reciepts, user accounts for apple? you should be able to get it back if you have something like that
i know that when i got my QT7Pro activation code it was emailed to me, i still have the email with the code in it....do you happen to still have that email?
