hi guys

wondered if any of you could help me out with this problem...

I have adobe photoshop CS and every time I open any image - it has the grid turned on. I know I can turn this off using view/extras on the menu, but I need it set to defaultso all new images have the grid turned off. Every time I open a new image it turns the grid back on.

Is there anyway to turn this off as a default?

thanks if anyone can help :)

I think if you set the prefs to grid off when there is no image open, then quit, that should set the default to grid off

If you turn off the grid and then quit the program, it should be turned off when you re-open photoshop.

You could just hit ctrl+h or ctrl+" as the short-cut...

But it should work when you quit.
