Can spotlight search network drives?

MBP 2.5 Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB 667 MHz DDR2, 17" Hi-Res Display ; iPhone 3G 2.1
This was posted back in '05 but i figured it was worth another shot now, with Leopard out.

Can spotlight index a network drive, specifically one on a server running windows 2K?
