No Address Book Sync w/ Google?

I updated to 10.5.3 and I do not have the option shown below. They're all there except the Google option. Any ideas?

I just read on Apple's discussion board that I have to have an iPhone or iPod Touch for this option. Gee, thanks Apple!

There is an application called A to G that allows you to transfer your apple address book contacts to google. However, I don't think it works in the opposite direction.
