My school offers Vista for free so I downloaded it. I went to burn it to a DVD and keep getting the laser power failed/medium write error crap. I need Vista installed ASAP (see: tonight) but my Genius Bar appointment isn't until Wednesday afternoon.

Is there any way to put the iso file on a USB HDD and use that to install instead of a DVD?

Thanks

FREE VISTA !!!!!!..... well well... which school is this....

If you have a mac then why not try running it as virtual machine till you're able to burn it to DVD. You have lot of freeware/ shareware options to run vista virtually.
