Hi everyone,
Im having a dilemma with getting my desired aspect ratio during export to Quicktime movie. Im on my Fourth project in FCP since i got it last November.
I had no problems in the first 3. However, this current project i am working on, i have missed a setting or something. I am capturing MiniDV footage at 16:9 into FCP. In the past when i exported it into a QT Movie it would play just how i wanted it, in a Letterboxed image. This time i am getting a 4:3 image that seems squished up a bit. During the editing process the images in the Viewer and Canvas are just how I imported them in. I Have tried changing the settings many times in User Prefs, and re-importing it. I cant get it the way i want it. Can anyone put a finger on what i am doing wrong, or let me know the proper video settings?
Thanks a lot,
Steve
