I have got a new imac running leapord os x. I have followed the instructions for boot camp and am now running windows, boot camp setup off the os x cd tells me that I need SP2, so I've got it off the internet, and after extraction, it tells me that I do not have enough disk space when I have 50 gig!!!!
It needs 8 meg?!
This might sound bizzare but I have a feeling that it is saying that because I have so much space the installer just can't estimate it... i.e the interger on the install estimater is not high enough

Does anyone know of a patch that fixes this please!

You're supposed to install a copy of XP/SP2. You can't install SP2 afterwards. It's not going to work.
