Hi guys,

I'm trying to find a way to watch BBC's iPlayer from Australia. It won't let me because it only allows UK residents to watch it. I had a friend who was able to watch American content that was blocked here, by downloading some software that hid his IP address. He was on a PC though.

Does anyone know a way around this?

G'day and welcome to the Forums.

Want the bad news? Definitely not available here in Australia as iPlayer is for UK resident with a license only.

I have just moved to Australia and I have the same problem. I am on TV and I really want to see the remaining episodes.

A change to my proxy has been recommended, but I am still not sure about it.

Another way could be to get someone to make a torrent for you, if it is one particular program.

But I still have that problem. If anyone knows a solution it would be great if you could let me know.
