dual channel worth it?

so my macbook has 2x512 ram,

get 2x1gb dual channel

or

get a 2gb stick for total of 2.5 gb none dual channel



i'm looking at newegg and a patriot one was pretty cheap only one bad review on it.


i use photoshop and vmare, with a little imovie on the side.

thoughts?

I would get the dual channel stick

id take the 2.5GB any day over Dual Channel, the only difference youll notice is size.

Size does matter!
