So here's the scoop, I just graduated college with a B.S. degree in Political Science and have two years of call center experience with duties ranging from tech support for our web-based interface, inside sales, account management, customer service. you name it, i did it in the call center.

I can't do much with my degree, I'm not ready for law school so I'm trying to get some certifications in either A+ or a Mac cert. I don't know where to start.

I'm looking for someone that maybe has tried to move up the Apple ladder either working for Apple at a retail location as a mac genius or mac creative or working as a tech, or maybe even creating their own small business.

Which cert should I look into first, as a good starting point to break into this field?

Well, I wouldn't know the first thing about what certificates you need for anything. Here's Apple's official college grad page though: http://www.apple.com/jobs/us/pro/college/index.html

Where did you graduate from? I would have been class of 08 too were I not in Iraq right now :(

Happy hunting!

I looked more into that site. They list all available openings in a plain old chart apparently. I really think that it's worth checking out (the next best thing to just knowing someone on the inside, that's probably your best bet).
