I've just bought an AV cable for my iPod Touch so that I can hook it up to the TV to watch videos etc. I thought I'd try out something.
If you log into the BBC iPlayer the videos will play through the cable like any other video and appear on your TV. So now you can watch anything from the iPlayer streamed onto your large TV. And the quality is near perfect.
Result!
The new AV cable for the Touch (despite the fact that I was annoyed that I had to get a new one seeing as I already had one for my last iPod) comes with a power cable so the battery won't die on you half way through The Apprentice.
You can also stream YouTube videos straight onto your TV.
