Hey All,
The DVD Drive in my Mac Pro Is giving me some real problems, so I need to replace it. System Profiler tells me it is a Sony DVD RW DW-D150a. It is the original internal drive from when we purchased the Mac. 2x 2.66 Ghz Dual Core.
Can anyone recommend a model that I can Purchase to replace this one?
I am not much of a hardware guy, I am a color specialist/retoucher so I almost never open up a computer.

Thanks in advance.

Try a Pioneer DVR-115D 20X DL burner. They are pretty cheap, $39.00 here in Australia, and you can fit it yourself. The only problem will be undoing the power connections. Struth they are tight!

I would try to find a blu-ray player intergrated with it.
