macbook and apple care

so my refurb macbook got the flickering issue less than a week of me owning it.

took it to apple store, they shipped it out to be fixed

i got a call 4 days later, saying they want to keep the macbook to further investigate the cause of the issue.

they gave me a choice:
-repair it and i'll have it by 5/27/08
-get me a new one and i'lll have it by "then end of the week"

so i got the new one so that i might not have to deal with repairs.

problem is i don't know the exact day its coming in. i don't have a tracking number.

i have called the representative, Tim yesterday and 2 times today. i left a message regarding the issue, but no call back or email.

how is this suppose to work?

What day did you talk to him in the first place. Count on it being a week or so.

Where do you live? If your in the west coast, expect it this week, since monday was a holiday. But if you are central or eastern, expect it early next week
