Leopard & CS3

HELP!
I am brand spankin' new to the world of Macs. I have always been a PC user until 2 days ago. I have been having issues with installing CS3 on my iMac with Leopard. The error I keep getting is that the program (PS) has quit unexpectedly. It won't reload, all I can do is ignore, which gets me nowhere. Can anyone help me?!?!

dump the preference files (I think it's like an option+command+control+shift while launching, Google it to be sure) and make sure you don't have eleventy billion fonts active.
