applying ken burns effect to a pdf

hey guys
i am editing something in final cut and need to import a pdf. once i get that imported is there a way to do the ken burns effect on it like imovie has? if i knew how to use flash i would do that and just make it a QT movie but i don't... sorry.
any help is greatly appreciated.
