• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I really wanted to create a slide show to post to Photobucket or Utube, to add to my space. I created everything I wanted in idvd, and now can't find another program that can read the files, or a way to open it in program that will read the files and put them into a workable format!
I have i movie, I have final cut, I have the windows type programs on my laptop. I've used Pro Show Gold for years on my PC, and it was easy to reformat to use on the web.
Does anyone have any advice for easy to use, but good programs that will work on my mac?
Or did I just miss what I should have done all along?
Thanks for the help,
Cathy
