Hey, I have a very big music collection, about 12000 songs.

Ive been trying to keep that all on my macbook pro hard drive but i need some space on it. I coppied all the music that i don't need on my macbook to a file on one of my external hard drives and deleeted the origional files on my mbp's hard drive

so now i want to be able to listen to my music that i have on my external hard drive when im home but when im out i only have the songs that i wanted to keep on my internal hd.

Is there any way to tell itunes where those songs are so when i connect my mbp back to my external it can just reconize it and play it from there?

thanks

You can just hold the option key down when you start iTunes. This will allow you to create a new library and also to select which library you want to use.

Looks like a interesting piece of software there speed 12.
