Bear with me as I am not computer savvy and even less mac-savvy.

Anyway, I'd like to create a webpage to host my webcam using the isight camera/mic that's built into my macbook version 10.5.2, Intel core 2 Duo.

Suggestions? Is there a quick/easy way to do this?

You could try using Automator.
In the library on the left panel you'll see Photos.
Select that to reveal what can be done with photos.
Scroll to the bottom and drag "Take Video Snapshot" to the big pane on the right.
Click the "Take picture automatically" so it has a check mark next to it.
Now look for the "Change Type of Images" action and drag that under the first action you dragged to the large pane.
Under "To Type:" choose the type you want to convert the TIFF file to.
Click the Run button on the top right.

You can also add a shell script at the end to upload your picture and clean up. I'll leave it to you to learn more if you are so inclined.
