Im sure there are millions of applications out there for this, but i was just wondering what your personal recommendations are?

Im after a light waight free application that I can quickley add different alerts in so that it will buz me at that time.

I would also be usefull to have an alarm clock application that I can use to wake me up in the mornings. Is it possible to get one of these which will wake the macbook up from sleep or even turn it on and then sound the alarm? Can you get the apple remote to work with it, for using sleep or turning it off when im in bed?

thanks
