Hi all

I have recently purchased a MacBook and have leopard installed.

I want to uninstall Fireworks from my machine so i dragged the folders to the trash but the main folder wont allow me to delete it? I had a look at the file permissions and it says I have read-write access but there are two other user profiles on there that say read only. I am logged in as admin but still no joy, it seems it thinks im one of the other users or something?

How on earth can i delete this file, its driving me nuts as i cant install my new cs3 package.

Thanks in advance

It sounds like the computer thinks it's still in use. I'd reboot and try deleting it without opening it.

You could force delete it using MainMenu

Download MainMenu, it does a number of things as well to keep your mac in tip-top condition

Fireworks is installed using an installer. I would recommend running that installer and choosing uninstall.
