I've had my Macbook for a year or so, using Mail the whole time.
Today, all of a sudden, Mail wants me to go through the set up process again. If I do that, I'm guessing I'll lose all the email in my accounts. If I don't, I can't get into Mail.
(How it happened is weird: sometimes when the magnetic power cord pulls out accidentally, the Mac shuts down. But this is the first time it's done something drastic like this. One time it happened I couldn't get the machine started again, so they replaced the logic board -- but I guess there's something else going on.)
I checked in the library and my old messages are still in there. I just can't get at them.
Any ideas? Thanks!
