It's a simple question. What's better? An extra .26ghz or the extra 4".
You'll notice the extra 4" instantly. And it's so usable. But to me I prefer the 20". Just cause I can look at the entire screen. But with the 24 I have to slightly move my eyes as in I can only look in detail at parts of the screen cause it's so big.

But you won't notice the .26ghz at all unless you push your machine to the limits. So to me it's more of a question of 24" or 20" and a little spare change. But to answer your original question, go for the bigger screen. Like everyone else above has said.

I went a 20" iMac 6 months ago, as i found the 24 just too large for normal computing, and for me it was the right thing to do, I just love it!

24" without a doubt, i had the 20" for 2 days....after reading so many forums about the 24" and how everyone loved it i had to see for myself. went back to best buy...walked toward the apple area...seen my 20" right next to the 24" n went to work on it...realized i wanted the 24"..why not? you wont regret it

welp, today i exchanged my 24" for the 20"....the 24 was just too big for me and i didnt use the whole screen. eyes having to wander around the screen and the brightness was a too much for me. now i feel like i am actually using the computer what i wanted it for. im a simple guy i just surf the web, download music and store some documents for work and pictures. so I didnt need the 24. I did the calibrate to my 20" to the 2.2 and its great i love it. 2.66GHz 20".
