Snow is only nice before Christmas. After that, it needs to go away!

wish it was snowing here, enough so that I couldn't go out!

At first I might have a little fun out there, then I'd be back in to enjoy the warmth of my home, then I'd get a little bored and then, finally I might actually be able to revise for my exam without every little distraction being so much more interesting than it is when I'm not revising...

O.k. slightly stole the topic just to rant - sorry :)

Well come to Queensland Australia and you get 30C - 40C+ every year for Christmas. So you're pretty much sitting outside every year hoping for a slight breeze to cool you down. So if you have too much snow pass some this way :).

I'd love to send you all some snow, but I'm afraid that the shipping charges would be enormous. ;)

There's a bit of a difference driving on slushed roads that the southerns usually get vs super fluffy snow that we get in the winter.
Most snow we get is so fluffy that it just blows aside when a car goes over it.

And we have all the right equipment, ice scrapers, road salters, and graders. As soon as it starts snowing you can see them all over cleaning up.

2" of sleet and another 1/10" of ice expected for Minneapolis. Should be a fun day tomorrow. Days like this are why God invented naps. Since this is the first week I've had off in 12 months, I should have known better. Still, I'm glad I'm home and no family members are flying this year.

Look at the bright side, the weather channel could be wrong!

Wow, I kind of forgot just how cold these Aluminium MacBooks get when they aren't being used.

Left mine on charge, on a table near a window, don't worry, nice and secure, dry, etc. Temperature probably hasn't dropped below -3 around here yet, but this thing was like a block of ice when I picked it up a few moments ago!!

Been holding at around 30-35 degrees here. And just got about an inch of snow on Wednesday, which is almost all gone. Can't wait for a nor'easter to slam us! -_-

My area keeps getting snow in the forecast for the 1-2 days. But once the day comes, the forecast updates, and it's another 1-2 days, until it snows.

Picture attached, although I'm not sure where this 'Enclosure Bottom' sensor is as it sure feels colder than 11 degrees when I first lift it up... :)
