Would an upgrade from Panther to Tiger ever be free?
I'm not expecting so, but thought I'd ask.
If not, how much is it expected to cost?

It's not bad actually, especially considering how much MS charges for their OS's..

oh, for sure... it's ridiculous.
and they wonder why people pirate windows!
but on the same line of thought, windows doesn't charge for an upgrade nearly as often as mac, and thier service packs are free of charge.

yea, at least we get inter OS updates free, like going from 10.3.5 to 10.3.6 is always free.

What is the problem, if the current OS is working for you why upgrade. :)
