imac g3 video problem

I just recently bought an imac g3. ;D

I only have one gripe though, the video is choppy.

I put a video on a flash drive and put it on the mac and went to playbck the video and the sound is okay but the video itself is choppy and slow.

What should I do to remedy this situation and please don't tell me to buy a different computer because this isn't possinble for me.

Which iMac do you have?

About the only thing you can upgrade, (easily) would be the ram.

Can you post some more info? Processor speed, ram installed, OS X?, etc...
go to the menu bar-Apple icon- About this Mac. Also, you can get info from System Profiler. (applications/utilities)

CPU type: Power pc 75-(32.1)
CPU speed: 400 Mhz
L2 cache:512 Kb
Memory:256 MB
Bus speed:100Mhz
OS X 4.0,1 I think?

Don't let the color, that's pictured, fool you. It came in 5 different colors. :Smirk:

But double check the specs.

If it is, you can upgrade to 1GB of ram. (2x512) I highly recommend it.

For the OS, it should say 10.x.x (for example 10.3.9 or 10.4.11)
