Hi there,
I was recently having some trouble with iDVD (it was hanging when I tried to load it) so I deleted the application. I then proceeded to re-install the program from my G5 installation disk using the Install Applications & Classic Support. This is where I ran into problems. When the screen popped up asking me to select a destination my hard drives both had a red exclamation mark and say "You cannot install this software on this volume. (null)".
I recently added a second hard drive to my machine. It is working fine but I don't know if my problem has anything to do with this. I am new to Macs in general. I have repaired permissions on both drives and still have the problem.
If anyone can offer advice it would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rob
