- 20' iMac / 2.0ghz / 250GB HD / 4.0GB RAM - Leopard
I have an HV20 and an iMac 2.0ghz with 4GB RAM. I have iMovie (iLife'08) and Final Cut Express 4.
I have not yet tried to connect, my 4-pin (to camera) to 9-pin firewire (to back of iMac) is in the mail and I chose that (4-9) since my other firewire connection on my iMac (is for 6-pin) and I already have an ext hard drive.
QUESTIONS:
1) Would the 4-pin to 9-pin work?
2) Would I be able to import Hi-Def video full 1920x1080. Most of my footage is 24p/cinema mode?
3) if so, using iMovie? or FCE4? Or both?
4) Any known issues about dropping frames you have heard about?
5) When I capture, I set it up to capture it as a .mov file or I can only do that with the output video (as I edit make it .mov)?
Thank you guys, Rick
