I use a Sennheiser HD 280 Pro when I'm doing video editing. These headphones are truly phenomenal. When I first tried them, I was able to hear things in games and in music I wasn't able to hear before.
Only gripe is the coiled up cord, and the looks. It really is more of a monitoring or studio head phone, where the main focus is on sound instead of aesthetics.
But they are phenomenal. Mostly anything from Sennheiser is top notch. I have also use their microphones for video projects.

I agree with those who have suggested Sennheiser.

I use all of the following:

Sennheiser HD-595 Premier Headphones ( @ work & home)
Sennheiser PX100W (foldable - white)
Sennheiser PX100 (foldable - black)

The foldable PX models produce amazing sound and they're perfect for notebook users, iPod users, or anyone who prefers a light-weight over ear headphone.

I have the SkullCandy LowRider's

I paid $50 for them and they sound amazing. Not to mention they look cool too. Mine are the red/white ones.

Haha, I remember meeting the SkullCandy reps at CES. They had some rather interesting products ;P
