Well, I was using Firefox, when my mac just froze. It sat there with the pinwheel spinning for 5 minutes, couldn't force-quit, couldn't do anything. I held the power button until the thing shut off, when I tried to restart the disc won't boot.
Been thru the "apple-s", and power reset procedures, the thing still won't boot, just sits on the grey apple screen with the spinning wheel, then shuts down.
I don't have my OS-X boot disc because I'm away from home, any ideas here? After reading many threads I think my disc is dead, just curious if anyone can confirm this for me.
It's a mid 2007 Intel Macbook, 120 gb drive, 4 gb ram.
Thanks in advance.
Tim
