Hey Guys.
A couple weeks ago i downloaded Viriusbarrier from apple's website, just to run a quick scan of my mac (Although now i really don't know why i even bothered) But i don't need it anymore, and want it off my system. I dragged everything that had to do with it to the trash but when i try to empty it, it says it is in use. I know its not in use, but if i click continue or stop, it doesn't delete. Is there an easy way of making sure it's not in use or deleting it?
Thanks

Hold down the Option key and then hit empty trash. If that does not work a reboot should.

Download a program such as AppTrap which will delete all files of an application when it is simply dragged to trash.

check whether it is in your startup items in user preferences as well, if it is, delete it from there, it may be running in the background
