Hello,

Does anyone know how to open the Finder's "Get Info" window from the command line? I know if you type `open .` you can get a regular Finder window for the current folder. What about the Get Info window?

Thanks,
Paul

Try this website for a complete list of Bash commands:

You might find the command you need there and in any event, the site is great for reference.

Hmm, most of those look like standard Unix commands. I agree it's a handy reference, but I don't see a command to open the Get Info window. I do see GetFileInfo, but that just prints type/creator details to stdout.

Thanks,
Paul
