Need a SW that will automatically find all m4a convert and replace them with mp3

Hi, need help here...

I am looking for a SW that will automatically search all the m4a which are imported by iTunes, and will convert them into mp3 without manually pointing all the files one by one. I have thousands of m4a and can't make it manually.
I found many SW but then I have to point each file, then adjust the quality for, and re-import them to iTunes and finally delete the m4a.
This process kills me.. Anyone with experiences ? Pls help

How about... iTunes!

Create a new smart playlist with a filter for "kind contains m4a" and then hit command + a to select all the songs in the playlist.

Once selected, select "advanced > convert selection to mp3" from the menu bar.

(Note: If it says "convert selection to aac", make sure the mp3 encoder has been selected by default under "itunes > preferences > advanced > importing")
