Ok, I have a 2.2GHz Macbook Pro and just about once every other day I seem to get a system hang -- to the point where I have to just press the power button. This is EXTREMELY irritating as it has happened many times. It seems to happen the most in iTunes. Every once in a while it refuses to wake from sleep, causing me to shutdown and lose my work. I am running 10.5.2 with the latest firmware update. Can anyone provide some sort of explanation of why it does this? Surely Leopard is not this unstable.

I'd start with repairing permissions with Disk Utility. (applications/utilities) It takes awhile for Leopard, so be patient. :)

Also try reinstalling iTunes along with repairing disk permissions.

Repairing disk permissions solved my problem of files not being read when trying to copy.

It was different files each time i tried to copy a the same folder.
