its a power mac g4 osx 10.4 and when i try to open garageband it says this

The Instrument Library is invalid. GarageBand expects a valid Instrument
Library folder in /Library/Application Support/GarageBand.
Please choose a valid Instrument Library folder or quit and re-install GarageBand.

i dont get it...new to macs.

Have you checked at Macintosh HD/library/application support/garageband, do you see a folder in there that says Instrument Library?

Did you just recently install GarageBand? Maybe you should try reinstalling it.
