Network spyware alert

I am having issues with a popup for network spyware protection.. I believe it is from allume and is an Internet cleanup demo that has expired..

I do not even remember installing this demo on my mac.. now the pop up will not go away..

What can I do...

Please Help

Is it installed on your mac? Have a search for it. If it is, get rid of it.

Get a pop up blocker. Firefox's works for me.

What makes you think it's a demo that has expired? Have you got a screenshot or anything?

That's an application, have a look in your apps, utilities folders, as well as in your startup items and activity monitor to find the pesky "utility".

And don't download scareware in future.

I have searched everywhere for the bugger......

I do not know where else to look....

all done... I reinstalled the internet cleanup dmg from Mysmithmicro and then unistalled from the installer....

Phew am happier now.....
