Hello yall!!

I'm still trying to figure out Iphoto when I have time to play with it when I am not working but when I import pictures from folders on my desktop, is it essentially copying and creating a duplicate copy within Iphoto?

macintosh hd users/your username/pictures/iphotolibrary/year/month/day/image.jpg or other file extension.

no, they go into trash, until you empty the trash, then theyre gone. the thumbnail stays, and the data, but the image is gone.

you can if you want, but leaving them causes no harm, just takes up a little space that adds up eventually, so it up to you. though I dont think each image has its own, so Id say leave it
