macbook letter "J" key sticks???

i have a mid level white macbook that i got back in Feb. i did not get applecare for it but it comes with a 1 year warranty with apple correct? if so can i just bring this into an apple store and they can take a look at it and fix it for free?

the J key is the only key that sticks but can be very annoying at times. every paragraph i type i have to go back and proof read and add all the J's that are missing.

Call them (Apple) up if you are within the year. They should help you out
