You guys think the weakest Macbook, the $1100 one.. With a 4 gb RAM upgrade, (not Mac RAM) will be a powerful computer?

This is my first Mac so Im not sure how they run etc.
Thanks

It totally depends on what you are going to use it for. On the one hand, that Mac is at least twice the machine than the first MacBooks, so yes it is a great get! On the other hand, if you are going to use it to run CS3 hard, it may not do it for you.

my older white 2.0 coreduo (not core2duo) macbook with 1 GB ram and superdrive is still a great machine with lots of life left. this new base model is easily better/stronger than mine, and unless you're looking to play a lot of games or edit hours of video you should be completely fine.
