I bought an emac off of ebay for $60. I got it in today, popped in the 10.5 disk, installed, and rebooted no problem. I was playing around in osx when the screen just turned off. Logically I thought a reboot would fix it, but now it simply won't turn on again. I've tried swapping the memory out and resetting the pram. The system chimes to life and I can hear the hard drive loading the OS, but nothing on screen!

Is there anyway to fix this short of replacing the CRT?

System specs:
1ghz G4
80gb HD
Superdrive
1gb SDRAM
Airport Extreme
10.5.0

I let the machine sit for about 5 minutes on startup and the screen came back on. However, I corrupted the the OSX install so I had to reinstall. I'm wondering if this is part of the screen issue with 10.5 and emacs.

Problem officially solved... for now

Thanks for your input
