Screen Grab Utility

I frequently use the screen grab utility and all has been well until now. I know that the default location for screen grabs was the desktop and up until now that is where they have been saved to. However, now when I use the utility the screen grabs are saved somewhere else and I have no idea where. I cannot find anything in sys prefs about how to change where they are saved! Any help on how to change that location/find the grabs i've taken appreciated. Thanks.

Try doing a spotlight search for "picture 1", hopefully it will show up somewhere.

Do you by any chance have Onyx? I know there is an option (under perameters>general) where you can change the location of the screen grabs.
