- 1.5 GHz Pb G4 2 GB, imac 2.4 GHz 2 GB, iphone 16 GB
hey guys
i'm soon moving onto an imac and making it my primary machine, but i'm still gonna use my powerbook here and there. now that i'm upgrading i don't get annoyed anymore, but i'm still wondering why is it that with the above specs the machine's fans constantly go on? this happens while browsing anywhere, really, sooner or later, but rather sooner. i'm not talking about the heaviest websites out there, either.
do you think upgrading to 2 gigs of RAM would make a difference here?
