On the hunt for a new HDD...

so, like a fool, i've been running my macbook pro for ages with its internal HDD stuffed to the gills. most of the memory is taken up by media, specifically a pretty large music collection (80GB) and a great deal of photographs (25ishGB). most of my computer usage is dedicated to playing media files and editing sound, images, and video.
what i'm interested in doing is finding an external hard drive that allows me to relatively mobile (read: not huge) with good access times, and hopefully satisfies the following criteria:

-at least 200GB
-firewire
-preferably bus powered, perhaps with optional AC adapter and on/off switch
-priced at between 100 and 150 bucks


please shoot back with any advice or recommendations, or just to tell me that my expectations are unreasonable.

Did you find out anything? Are there compatibility problems with some of the drives? What brand is best?
