Zend PHP optimiser?

Has anyone heard of this?

I'm trying to view a site which has it (sorry can't disclose the site - confidentiality)

They provided me with this link but I can't for the life of me figure out how to install it xD

Any ideas or clues would be greatly appreciated. I can't actually see the point of this application ><

Zend Optimizer is a free "program" that basically helps PHP files to be served faster. A file can be encoded with the Zend engine which basically encrypts it so that people can not view it's contents. For example a company that creates a commercial php project can encode it so that their code remains safe.

If you need to know how to install Zend Optimizer, then go to the Zend website and follow their instructions. You'll need to be somewhat comfortable with system administration to install it...

I've have a look at the manual, and although I'm fairly comfortable with terminal and root permissions, the instructions they give are, frankly, less than helpful.

I see.. then yeah you might want to find someone that is more comfortable with that type of stuf to install it for you.
