I just bought a samsung ml-1630 to use with my macbook pro. How do I make the computer work with the printer without using the usb cord?
I tried some things I read in the apple support forum and it didn't work.
It works fine when connected through usb, but I obviously bought it to use wirelessly.

Thanks.

Samsung has this tutorial out on their site. Have you tried it yet? Make sure you have the driver installed before you start.

Yes I tried that & it always tells me the "network host is busy, down, or unreachable"...so it doesn't work.

Sounds like your printer and Mac are on different subnets - can you share a bit more about your network configuration?

My laptop connects through airport to the router. I don't really know what else there is to tell (?)
