Hey..

i don't know if it is the right place to put it.. but here i go ;)

i got my new TV, a Samsung LE40F86BDX there is full HD support (1920x1080).

i got a DVI-> HDMI cable and the monitor (TV) look nice with that resolution.

but i had some movies on my macbook pro there is 1080p.

i try to play them in VLC media player.
i got this error.

my macbook pro is a 15" with 2.33 ghz intel core 2 duo
2gb 667 mhz DDR2 SDRAM.
with a ATI Radeon X1600 graphic card.

what can i do to get a nice flow for viewing 1080p movies.

ya..

i think it is becuase the movies framerate is too high or something.

i did hear from a friend that 1080p min. require a 3ghz cpu.

but if there is a solution to it i will have it.
