How can I install X11 without the Tiger DVD

The one I get from apples site says:
you cannot install X11 on this volume. newer software already exists on your computer

And peoples been saying that you need the Tiger DVD, which I dont have.

So, I need this if I want to run Gimp, OpenOffice, and any of the other sweet opensource apps. Help appreciated.

Looks like you have to buy the Tiger DVD which you should have if you installed it on your computer?

X11 Download for Tiger OSX 10.4

The X11 can be downloaded at this link: http://cjmart.in/2006/12/01/install-x11-on-tiger-without-the-tiger-install-dvd/
It's not the current version, but once you download it you can click on Software Updates and it will show that there is a newer version that you can update to.
I also wanted to use the Gimp program, but to use this I needed the X11 and I didn't have discs for the computer. With the X11 download from the above link I can now use Gimp.
