Syncing my Palm Tungsten E to my ibook

Need some more helpful advice....

I have a Palm Tungsten E which I have been using on my regular PC for the last year. I have tried to upload the palm software to my mac with no avail, something to do with an installation problem near the end. Has anyone had the same problems? Secondly, is it even possible to sync my palm to more than one computer? The main thing I am worried about is losing the data on my palm although i do have it backed up on my pc. I would appreciate the tips. As i ask questions i do also search the web but i find these forums very helpful and quick. Once again guys thanks for your cooperation.

I went to the palm one site and downloaded the mac palm desktop.
the one i have on the cd i received with my palm is outdated. everything is good. it's a nice desktop although i am extremely used to the pc version of it. but all in all everything is perfect.
