has anyone done a myth PVR box recently??
i am interested in doing a back-end box and a separate front end box. i would put the back-end box in the basement and either stream or use some sort of other networked method to the front end. i plan one good stationary projector front-end but otherwise stream the data to a macbookpro or something. the plan is Ubantu linux if possible.
-recommend a capture card pci or pci-e that has linux drivers and wroks hi definition 1080p and has on board encryption decryption.
-any thoughts on what works for a sound card (5.1 sound)
