My friend wants to find a clear plastic side door for his g5..Anyone know where to find this?

There is a clear plastic deflector inside the G5 case. Just remove the side panel. See the MacAddict special edition "Mac Answers" p 65 for a picture.

I'm pretty sure(98%) that there is a clear door that replaces the exterior aluminum door on the right side!

Removing the Aluminium door would be enough, as long as the transparent deflector (that still keeps it kinda closed) stays in place. I don't really see why somebody would want to put an additional clear plastic, to show an existing clear plastic (?!?)
Removing the deflector is not a good idea, as it divides the different cooling zones of the G5. Without it, effective cooling wouldn't be possible.

I'm going to agree with the others in the thread...the only clear side door for the G5 is the deflector that comes with it, unless you fashioned your own

Sounds like your DJ friend wants to case-mod the G5. He should check out the Mac Answers issue. The article I refered to is a walk-through on case-moding a G5.
