• The Mac-Forums Community Guidelines (linked at the top of every forum) are very clear, we respect US law and court precedence when it comes to legality of activity.

    Therefore to clarify:
    • You may not discuss breaking DVD or BluRay encryption, copying, or "ripping" commercial, copy-protected DVDs.
    • This includes DVDs or BluRays you own. Even if you own the DVD or BluRay, it is still technically illegal under the DMCA to break the encryption. While some may argue otherwise, until the law is rewritten or the US Supreme Court strikes it down, we will adhere to the current intent of the law.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying unprotected movies or homemade DVDs.
    • You may discuss ripping or copying tools in the context that they are used for legal purposes as outlined in this post.

I am trying to find a Mac software program that has a digital zoom function for webcams. Now that you can buy UVC webcams to work on Mac I want to get zoom working on my UVC webcam. I can have zoom on my PC as there are a myriad of zoom applications available but none of them are mac compatible. Has anyone seen any Mac software that has a zoom function for webcams?
Thanks!

Ecamm's iGLASSES software has a zoom function - works great with a built-in iSight or any other UVC compliant USB webcam listed at http://www.mac-compatible-web-cam.com/ -- When I tried it with not just iChat - but other QuickTime capture apps - iGlasses kicked in and gave those programs zoom functionality as well! So there's your solution: $9.95
